Nick’s Quarantine Life

Photos from the Quarantine

I have not been out of the house in 3 weeks so this picture describes me during this quarantine.
Getting ready to take on the Pandemic (my families stock pile). This picture was taken in my basement and this is just less than half of the amount of groceries my mom has bought. We have enough groceries to last us a full two months! This whole Pandemic happened so fast and is unpredictable we are ready for anything!
Catching up on my Philosophy Homework in my favorite studying place which is my bedroom. My teacher cancelled the rest of our exams so it’s all reading and homework.
Studying for my big Business Law Exam in my bedroom. This exam is going to be a big one because my grade is at an 89 and I need this one for an A.
Watching one of my favorite T.V. Programs Sports Center at my house. Watching this show takes my mind off the pandemic and puts my mind on one of my favorite all time things, which is sports.
Made my favorite movie snack for the Star Wars Marathon today. Nothings better than Popcorn, Gold Fish, and Eminem’s on a rainy afternoon! This snack should help me focus on my favorite childhood movie series in Star Wars rather than the corona virus
Online this afternoon in one of my favorite classes this semester in PR 305. On this day we learned about the 5 Ws Who, What, Where, When, and Why. It’s a very interesting class and I have learned a lot of quality information in it so far this semester.
Oh how I miss going outside in my backyard. Due to social distancing reasons we have to stay indoors all the time until this virus is under control. Never in my lifetime did I ever a pandemic like this happening ever. It really makes you think of how you can take life and time for granted and how it can be a real privilege to be around others and outside.
Even though I can’t attend physical Mass during this quarantine I always keep my Faith during these dark times. I always keep this cross on my nearest shelf in my room that way I can always pray towards it on Sundays when I’m supposed to be at church. On the Cross is one of my favorite Bible verses and it really brings light during these dark times.
Helping my mom do some laundry around the house today. It’s a good mother and son bonding opportunity while keeping a 6 ft distance.
The activity that keeps me busy everyday is my Xbox. I literally have been on this system every single day for the past 32 days, playing with my friends online and trying to take my mind off of all the cornea news. My Xbox is in my basement too so i am social distancing from everyone in the house. It’s a good way to keep up with close friends while not being in the same room.
Just made some pizza rolls with my mom today in the kitchen. Pizza rolls is one of my favorite kind of foods and bring me back to my childhood when I had them all the time. Once again it’s another good Mother and son bonding activity.

Be yourself; Everyone else is already taken.
