- Hey everyone! This is just another little update of what I’ve been up to during these last few weeks of Quarantine.
- FYI I have a newly edited picture slide show on my blog that I just posted today as well.
- So one activity that I have been doing too much of other than any other has been playing Xbox. Some games that I have been putting a lot of hours into is NBA 2K20 and Madden 20. I have also been getting into Call of Duty Modern Warefare as well.
- Another activity that my family and I have been pursuing is family game night. My mom went down into our storage room and pulled out some games that my sister and I played as kids. The games included, Disney’s Magic Kingdom and Sorry. Playing those two games really brought me back to my childhood and really put all this COVID-19 news towards the back of my head.
- Another activity I have been doing is watching old NCAA tournament re-runs. As I explained in my picture slide show I really love the NCAA tournament and was really let down that it was cancelled this year. However watching NCAA tournaments from 2010,2008 and 2007 really bring me back to my childhood. My favorite one to watch is when Iowa State beat Notre Dame in the NCAA Tournament in 2013, I believe I was in 8th grade that year and it just brought back all the excitement I felt that night.
- I should also add that it’s been kinda hard living with my parents and sister 24/7 all the time because in High school I would be at school from 7am-6pm because of sports and during the summer I would be golfing with my friends or working. Then in college I’m away from home a lot so it’s been rough adjusting back. Especially since I can’t eat out or eat whenever I want anymore! My tip for any college kid living with their parents right now is enjoy the moment because sooner or later you will be out on your own and even though it may seem exciting you will for sure look back at these moments. I’m two years away from graduating and I’m cherishing ever moment I have.
- Lastly I hope everyone is staying safe and pr acting social distancing until this mess is over (hopefully by mid June). I had a fun semester and hoping for more down the road.
